This double-size quilt was expertly handcrafted by Mennonite artisans in New Hamburg, Ontario, and was originally purchased at the prestigious Mennonite Relief Sale. The design features a striking geometric "window" block pattern utilizing a warm, earth-toned palette of forest green, burnt orange, and rustic browns measuring about 260 by 215 cm. Every component is meticulously constructed using traditional hand-piecing and fine hand-stitching, which is beautifully visible across the off-white, star-patterned sashing. While it displays a few minor vintage character marks, this authentic textile represents a stunning blend of local cultural heritage and timeless, functional craftsmanship.
