About Us
Your dollars support our local community.
Thank you for seeing the beauty and potential in these once treasured items!
The Mission Store is blessed to receive generous donations from the London community. To honour the value these items once held for their previous owner(s), we thoughtfully price each item. Our goal is to ensure fairness to the donor's generosity, while pricing with integrity, given the condition and demand for each piece.
Local Impact on the London Community:
The Mission Store (both the storefront located at 797 York Street, London, Ontario, and the online store at shopmissionstore.ca) is operated by Mission Services of London.
Mission Services of London serves individuals and families who are experiencing, or are at risk of experiencing, homelessness, mental illness, and substance addiction.
As Mission Services of London's social enterprise, the Mission Store supports the organization in two major ways:
- The Emergency Voucher Program: Operated out of our 797 York Street storefront, the Emergency Voucher Program offers basic necessities, including clothing, housewares, and hygiene products, to individuals and families at no cost to them. Each year, the program provides more than $150,000 worth of essentials to our neighbours in need.
- Site and Program Support: In addition to the Mission Store, Mission Services of London operates two emergency shelters (Men's Mission and Rotholme Family Shelter), an addiction treatment centre (Quintin Warner House), and Community Mental Health Programs. The revenue generated by the Mission Store supports individuals and families who are receiving care from our other services.
Every purchase made at the Mission Store goes back into the local community by supporting the men, women, and children in need who seek support from Mission Services of London.
